Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WagerMe.gg ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must reside in a jurisdiction where peer-to-peer skill-based wagering is permitted.
• The Platform uses geofencing to enforce regional restrictions automatically. Attempts to circumvent location verification will result in account termination.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Linked third-party game accounts (for example Lichess or Chess.com) are tied to your WagerMe identity for match verification. After you link an account, you cannot change or remove it yourself from the dashboard; updates are made only by WagerMe administrators when support approves a legitimate request. Where we require it (such as Lichess), you must complete ownership verification steps we provide before the link is saved.

4. Wagering Rules

• All wagers are peer-to-peer. WagerMe does not act as a bookmaker or set odds.
• Both participants' funds are held in escrow before a match begins. Funds are released to the winner upon settlement.
• Match results are verified via game APIs where supported. For unsupported games, participants submit results which are subject to confirmation and dispute resolution.
• A platform fee (currently 1%) is deducted from the winner's payout.

5. Deposits & Withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals are processed via Paysafe. You can use cards, bank transfers (ACH), Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Processing times depend on your payment method and bank. WagerMe does not charge deposit fees, but your bank or card issuer may.

6. Dispute Resolution

If participants disagree on a match outcome, either party may open a dispute. Both sides may submit evidence. WagerMe administrators review disputes and issue a final, binding resolution.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using cheats, exploits, or third-party automation tools.
• Colluding with opponents to manipulate outcomes.
• Creating multiple accounts.
• Circumventing geofencing or age verification requirements.

8. Cheating, fraud, and forfeiture of account balance

If WagerMe reasonably determines, after investigation (which may include game records, extension or platform logs, payment and wagering patterns, KYC information, and dispute evidence), that you cheated, colluded, manipulated match outcomes, used unauthorized automation, abused the dispute or settlement process, operated multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, or otherwise engaged in fraud or conduct that materially undermines wager integrity, you agree that we may, in our sole discretion:

• suspend or terminate your account immediately; and
• forfeit the entire balance in your WagerMe wallet at the time of that determination, with no obligation to return those funds to you.

Forfeited funds may be applied to compensate affected users, offset chargebacks, fraud losses, or investigation and compliance costs, or retained by WagerMe, in each case as permitted by applicable law. You acknowledge that this remedy is an essential part of deterring cheating on a peer-to-peer platform. Nothing in this Section limits other remedies we may pursue.

9. Account Termination

WagerMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Unless Section 8 (cheating, fraud, and forfeiture) applies, remaining wallet balances will be returned minus any outstanding obligations.

10. Limitation of Liability

WagerMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from wagering activity, technical failures, or unauthorized account access.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
